Back in October, Galax revealed its 20th anniversary edition RTX 4090 with a design reminiscent of NVIDIA’s FE cards but with the addition of a third central fan. Today a new variant of this card has been named Carbon Fiber Edition which is limited to 50 units.
As seen on weibo.com (Via VideoCardz), this new carbon fibre edition of the 20th-anniversary card features a front panel covered with, you guessed it, carbon fibre, or at least a carbon fibre-looking skin. It juxtaposes the original revealed white design. Interestingly, the colour isn’t the only change as this card also features a higher price tag as well as a higher boost clock of 2610 MHz from 2595 on the white model. Despite the increased boost speed it also features a lower TGP of 510W compared to the 516W of the white model.
These two cards will be launching at 8PM in China tomorrow across various retailers including JD, TMall and WeChat with no intentions for a global launch. The white edition will be available for 20,000 RMB (£2,246.10) and the carbon edition will be available for slightly more at 21,000 RMB (£2358.40)
