White gaming hardware is more popular than ever, so we’re certainly quite a few of our readers are going to love the new GALAX GeForce GTX 1060 6GB EXOC White Edition graphics card. Those looking for a full-white card, the kind we’ve seen in the past from GALAX, Galaxy, or even their other brand KFA2, may be disappointed, though. The white design is limited to the backplate and the cooler design, so there’s still a black PCB and unmatching fittings. That’s not to say the card looks bad, far from it, but it’s not all-white like the name would imply given their previous white cards were.
The card ticks all the right boxes, with a factory-overclocked speed of 1556 Mhz, 1771 MHz GPU boost, 8 GHz GDDR5. The card is powered by a single 6-pin PCIe connector, so should be easy-going on mid-range systems. The aluminium fin-stack cooler features 8mm thick nickel-plated copper heat pipes and two 90mm fans.
It certainly looks like a nice card, but unfortunately, we don’t have any pricing information at this time or a release date. Would you have the GTX 1060 EXOC White Edition in your rig?
