Galaxy GTX 780 HOF Edition Graphics Card Reaches 1894MHz Core and 7.4GHz memory

Nvidia’s GTX 780 has been out for a few weeks now and already extreme overclocker Mr.Wong from HKEPC has been pushing this GPU to its upper limits. Using Galaxy’s Hall of Fame Edition, a totally custom designed GTX 780, he was able to achieve a massive core clock frequency of 1894MHz on the core with 7.4GHz on the memory. Unfortunately this wasn’t actually benchmark stable and most of the benchmarks were done at lower frequencies of 1698MHz to 1855MHz. Cooling was provided by LN2 and the voltage was at a huge 1.55 volts. An Intel Core i7 3960X at 5.4GHz provided the CPU grunt to help reach post some massive scores. All the results can be seen below with their relevant core clock speeds and validation links:
- 3DMark 11- P19725 Marks @ 1803MHz – Validation Link
- 3DMark Fire Strlke – 13722 Marks @ 1698MHz – Validation Link
- 3DMark Cloud Gate – 41180 Marks @ 1855MHz – Validation Link
Some very impressive results indeed and if you are interested in seeing any more about this overclocking session then be sure to visit HKEPC and check it all out.
