Galaxy Launch Gamers Series Nvidia Graphics Cards

Galaxy has just launched their new “Gamer” series of graphics cards, targeted at the performance sector of the PC market. The first two cards from their range were first revealed back in December 2013, and the series currently only includes two models, but we expect more will follow shortly.
The first in the range is the Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 Gamer, followed by the more powerful GeForce GTX 770 Gamer. Both cards use a custom-design PCB, featuring a 7-phase VRM which draws power from a combination of 1 x 6-pin and 1 x 8-pin power connectors; that’s quite a solid amount of power for these cards, more that enough to provide the cards with juice for their 5 – 10% factory overclock. While cooling is handled by a dual-slot cooler, an aluminium fin-stack heatsink and a pair of 80mm fans.
The two cards are only launching in the Greater China region at this time, but imports and other markets are likely to follow should the cards prove successful, and we hope they do as while they’re not as crazy as some of the other cards launching right now, they look like they’ve got a lot of potential for the mid-market.
