Galaxy announced today the release of the Galaxy GeForce GT 640 GC graphics card, built around NVIDIA’s newest GT 600 series GPU and featuring an extensive array of improvements resulting from Galaxy-exclusive engineering and customization.
The Galaxy GT 640 GC edition features 384 CUDA cores, 1GB of 128-bit GDDR3 memory, and an impressive factory overclock for noticeable gains in overall performance both in and out of the game. Galaxy’s custom cooling solution makes GT 640 GC one of the quietest mainstream graphics cards on the market while ensuring optimal performance in all PC types and sizes.
The Galaxy GT 640 GC 1GB supports the newest features of GeForce 600 series, including Adaptive Vsync for smoother gameplay, PhysX, DirectX 11, and Blu-Ray 3D support. The GT 640 GC is also the first mainstream GeForce graphics card capable of driving up to 3 displays for surround gaming and general use, making multi-display more accessible and affordable than ever. The most common display types are supported right out of the box, including HDMI, DVI, and VGA.
The Galaxy GT 640 GC is available now at leading retailers and etailers: Amazon, Best Buy, Micro Center, NCIX, Newegg, and TigerDirect. For more information on the product, click here
