The cable is really nice and of a good length, it also comes with a Velcro strap to help keep it neat and tidy when stored away, but it’s also handy for keeping excess cables out of the way once installed.
The Aegis is a relatively simple device; along the top you’ll find a red plastic arm that can be used for hanging your headset.
At the base is a rubber attachment with a grove cut into it, this is your mouse cable bungee.
At the base of the Aegis you’ll find a DC-in jack and a Mini-USB port. The USB port is for hooking the hub up to your desktop, the 5v DC jack is for use with any standard power multi-adaptor and can provide extra power to the USB ports for charging devices.
There are four standard USB 2.0 ports on the back of the Aegis.
On the other side you’ll find a pair of 3M strips to stick the unit to your monitor.
