A Closer Look
The Zeus P1 is a great looking mouse, with curve ergonomics that will benefit multiple grip types, especially with that durable rubber grip coating on the side with a nice recess, which means you can really dig your fingertips into it and get a firm hold, which is equally handy for those who use a lift-off technique, as it makes the mouse very easy to pick up.
Down the left side, and wrapping all the way around the back and the right side of the mouse are two LED light strips, one at the base and another just above the side navigation buttons. They’re backlit with an array of RGB lights, giving you two levels of lighting to play around with for some cool effects.
On the right side, more tough rubber grip coating, giving you even more control. The mouse has some interesting ergonomics too, with a very low back that’s going to be great for palm rest, the rubber grips help with fingertip grip and the fatter front end makes it easy to use a claw grip too.
Up top, you’ll find a few programmable control switches, although they’re pre-programmed for profile/DPI control. There’s a large scroll wheel too, which is heavily recessed, but it comes with a soft rubber trim that makes it very easy to control accurately.
The LMB and the RMB have a nice ergonomic curve to them, with a small lip on the outside edges, helping keep your fingers resting nice and central on the for better control.
On the base, you’ll find three PTFE slipmats, and the 12,000 DPI optical sensor in the middle near the front of the mouse. Now, let’s get it plugged in and see what it can do!
