With Christmas coming, I daresay that more than a few of our fans here at eTeknix are hoping to find a game or two under the tree or in your stocking. While you can, of course, feel the boxes to try and have a guess, there is a better way to try and ascertain what it might be. In a report via GamesIndustry, what could be the last sales charts (pre-Christmas) have been released and, based on what’s on there, we think it’s a fairly strong indication as to what people might be getting on December 25th!
The game charts (compiled by UKIE/Gfk) reveal the following top 10.
Well, on the whole, it seems that the list has been taken over by the ‘stocking filler’ releases. For example, last week saw Forza, Spider-Man and Crash Bandicoot much lower down in the charts. In addition, it is surprising to see Super Smash Bros. dropping down to the number 4 spot. With the games that have beaten it though? That’s not entirely surprising!
Seeing Red Dead Redemption 2 back on top is hardly shocking. In fairness, I know it’s on my list!
With 8 days left to go until Christmas, remember to keep on your best behaviour!
