Game Releases For February 2018
A fresh month is upon us and as such we at eTeknix look at some of the gaming release highlights for the month.
UFC 3 – February 2nd – PS4 / Xbox One
While not everyone is a fan of UFC, we certainly are not spoilt for choice when it comes to sports fighting games.
UFC 3 looks to be the next highly polished edition in the gaming series, we just hope that EA doesn’t screw it up.
Rust – February 8th – PC / MAC / Linux
It might have been bogged in easy access for a long time now, but Rust is finally being released.
Admittedly, many have been burnt by this title already, but it might be worth a second look. At least, now that it’s declared for a formal release.
Dynasty Warrior 9 – February 9th – PC / Xbox One / PS4
Everyone’s favourite hack and slash title is finally returning.
It has been a long time since we last had a release in this series unless of course, you count the numerous spin-offs such as Hyrule Warriors etc.
Secret of Mana (Remake) – February 15th – PC / PS4 / PS Vita
Many consider Secret of Mana to be one of the greatest games ever made. Personally, I have no idea as I never played it.
The original SNES classic, however, is set for re-release this month so I might give it a go after all.
Bayonetta 1 and 2 – February 16th – Nintendo Switch
Yeah, so this isn’t exactly the first time Bayonetta 1 has been re-released, but then 1 and 2 were both fantastic games.
The re-release is set to hit the Nintendo Switch this month.
Metal Gear Survive – February 20th – PC / Xbox One / PS4
We are a little curious to see how the first MGS game without Hideo Kojima at the helm will turn out.
The initial signs are good, but we wouldn’t want to jinx it either.
Our thoughts?
To be honest, it’s a pretty quiet month on the whole. While there are some decent games coming out, we’re not going to be spoilt for choice this month either.
What do you think? Any games you want? Any highlights we didn’t mention? – Let us know in the comments!
