A Closer Look – Exterior

The Game Max Kallis makes a strong first impression and really stands out with its deep black finish. Without a doubt, this looks like a premium priced chassis and somewhat reminds me of the older Phanteks cases; that’s no bad thing. The side panel window is massive and gives a great view of that matching black interior. Of course, it’s not glass, but at this price range, I’m not complaining.

The right side panel is just a blank panel, nice and simple, and it gets the job done. What’s surprisingly for this price range is that the panel is quite thick, so that’s a nice bonus.

The front panel looks impressive and incredibly stealthy; at least with the power off.

RGB Fans

There’s a brushed metal finish to it, with a huge vent that houses some RGB fans, but more on those in a little bit.

Tucked into the left side, you’ll find two USB ports, HD audio jacks, and the reset button. There’s an SD Card slot on the right side, but it’s plugged and I’m guessing a left over from a different model.

Around the back, there are no surprises. There’s a pre-installed exhaust fan, seven expansion slots, and the PSU mount. Another welcome bonus is that the expansion covers are all reusable metal ones, not those cheaper snap-off ones we often see in this price range; another big plus.

Built-in Lighting Controls

The top panel looks great too, with a large power button and smaller LED control button. There’s plenty of ventilation too, but keep in mind that it’s just that, ventilation, as there are no top fan mounts.

Finally, one the bottom you’ll find a slide out dust filter for the PSU air intake, and four very large and durable feet for great stability.
