Final Thoughts

Price

The Game Max Kallis is playing for the affordable product of the year award and it’s only January. This chassis will cost you just £55 on Amazon right now. It’s listed with an MSRP £56.99, and if you can find a better looking chassis for less money, we need to know about it.

Overview

I’m honestly stumped on how Game Max is delivering so many new chassis over the last 10 months at truly jaw-dropping prices. Their tempered glass products are some of the cheapest on the market, and they’re plenty competitive regarding quality. Sure, the Kallis would look great with glass, but that money clearly goes towards a range of other great features.

Build Quality

Thin metal panels are commonplace in this price bracket, and that’s fine, as you get what you pay for. However, the Kallis feels surprisingly chunky and looks beautifully finished. Sure, a few tricks like some RGB fans and a fake brushed metal exterior panel help that a lot, but it has worked wonders.

Design

This really does remind me of some of the Phanteks products, and that’s high praise. With dust filters in the front and on the PSU, your system will be running cool and clean with ease. Three pre-installed fans are nothing to fuss about either, and yes, I would like to see that rear fan replaced with an all black one, but that’s a minor gripe.

The addition of a PSU shroud, good cable routing, hidden HDD bays, and room for a 240mm radiator all add up in a big way. Without a doubt, any system build is going to look and perform great on the Kallis.

Added Value

The Kallis is value for money in every regard. However, little details like the hardware controller RGB lighting and the built-in fan connection hub are huge bonuses. Removable tool-free HDD bays and a stealth mounting solution for 2.5″ drives keeps things looking neat and tidy, and gives you great flexibility. Game Max didn’t have to include a GPU support bracket either, but they did, and kudos for doing so.
