GameMax Precision E-ATX Full-Tower Chassis Review

A Closer Look – Exterior

The Precision is huge, no doubt about that. It comes with a massive slab of tempered glass on the left side. Of course, that means fantastic views of the chassis interior, allowing you to show off your new extreme gaming PC. The little details are well taken care of too. The front panel features some gorgeous brushed aluminium detailing that just oozes premium quality. Rather than front panel ventilation, airflow comes in at the side of the panel, which should help reduce fan noise too. Of course, it also means we get a nice and clean looking front panel.

There are two 5.25 drive bays on this chassis, each fitted with a removable front cover. As you can just about see, the front panel has a cut-away groove around the edge also. That white vertical strip is backed up with RGB LED lighting, so it’ll be fun to see that in action once we hit the power switch. Furthermore, there’s another LED strip hidden in the top panel and four RGB fans, but we’ll get to those shortly.

Stamped on the front panel, a nice Gamemax logo. It’s not too big, and looks neat and tidy.

The top panel is stunning, featuring more brushed aluminium and a lovely rolled edge that wraps down to the left side panel. Overall, the flow and shape of this chassis are what we want to see from a premium product.

Front Panel

The front I/O is packed with features too! There’s a built-in fan control system, with an off feature, and two channels. You’ll find four USB ports, audio jacks, and all the usual power controls. What I do love is that there’s an RGB LED controller built-in too, so no need for desktop software to control all the lighting!

Down the right side, you’ll find a massive and thick side panel. It’s fitted with a pair of thumb screws, so it’s easy to remove.

It features a large bank of ventilation too, with a dust filter behind it, it’ll provide plenty of extra airflow to the chassis.

Around the back, you can really appreciate just how tall this chassis actually is. Towards the top, you’ll find a 120/140mm height adjustable fan mount.

Located above the motherboard I/O, there’s a pair of LED lights. These are awesome, as it’ll make it easy to find your ports behind your system.

Expansion!

Planning a multi-GPU configuration? No problem, as there are 10 ventilated expansion slots. However, you also get two vertical slots, giving us 12 in total. That’s more than enough for any extreme system!

Finally, at the base, you’ll find room for an ATX PSU, which also comes with a slide-out dust filter.

On the base, you’ll find four rubber grip feet. These feet provide plenty of ground clearance for the PSU air intake.
