Gamer Sets Guinness World Record by Connecting 444 Unique Consoles to One Screen

A Saudi Arabian video game enthusiast, Ibrahim Al-Nasser, has set a new Guinness World Record by connecting 444 unique gaming consoles to a single television. This extraordinary feat required meticulous organization, as Al-Nasser carefully arranged his collection to ensure that not a single cable was visible, despite the massive number of devices connected.

Al-Nasser’s collection spans the entire history of video gaming, from the Magnavox Odyssey, released in 1972, to the latest PlayStation 5 Slim model. To manage this impressive array, he utilized a complex system of HDMI switchers and converters, all cataloged in a detailed spreadsheet. This setup allows him to easily switch between consoles like the Nintendo 64, PlayStation 2, and Atari 2600 with just a few clicks.

A Museum of Gaming History

Al-Nasser described his setup not only as a way to play games but also as a “museum” of gaming history. His favorite console, the Sega Genesis, holds a special place in his collection. He emphasized that maintaining a clean and organized display was crucial, noting, “The cables are almost hidden. I used all the tools available on the market to organize the cables.”

Beyond consoles, Al-Nasser’s collection includes hundreds of controllers, arcade cabinets, pinball machines, and rare gaming memorabilia, all neatly arranged in a dedicated room.
