Gamer Storm MF120 Chassis Fan Kit Review

Installation and Performance

The RGB lighting effects to the Gamer Storm MF120 are truly excellent. The colour range is excellent with over 16.7 available. It is also highly vibrant. To operate, you are required to fit the wireless controller and that is where the true effects can really be put in place to suit the user.

Unlike many other system fans, the Gamer Storm MF120 is primarily designed to be controlled by use of an app. The main hub acts as a wireless adaptor which operates via an app installed on your smart device. Being compatible with both Android and iOS the app is easily found via a QR code box and after connecting to your wireless network, it’s ready to run.

It is somewhat difficult to show the app working, as it is clearly on a smart device. I can, however, confirm that I found it easy to use and also to set-up. The only slight caveat is that it does require a wireless connection to run at its full potential, but in most homes that isn’t a problem.

Video

It can sometimes be difficult to exactly despite a product in operation. Particularly in real-life terms outside of the manufacturers own promotional content. We have therefore put a brief video together to show both the cooler and wireless hub in operation.
