The back bracket and the four screws are easily clipped into place, allowing you to screw on the top two supports without the use of any tools. It took a couple of minutes to get to this stage.
The tower fits easily on to the block, the only trick part being the two retention screws as you’ll need a long screw driver to reach down through the tower and some nimble fingers to get them lined up. It’s easier with the ram removed, but I found myself cursing at the cooler a few times trying to get everything in place, although this is hardly uncommon when mounting large tower coolers.
The fan is huge, but despite its size it still doesn’t conflict with our ram, sure it does rest on the top of the ram, but that’s hardly a major issue, just don’t expect to be able to put the fan this side of the tower if you have tall ram heat-sinks. Dependant on your motherboard configuration you may have conflicts with your first PCI-E slot, dependant on the size of the card you’re installing, fortunately for our out GPU connects to the second slot down, so we didn’t have any compatibility issues here.
Overall the installation took about 15 minutes and the end result looks really nice, I have no doubt this cooler will look superb in virtually any build.
