Gamescom: Sennheiser PC320 headset

In a collaboration between audio specialist’s Sennheiser and world championship Counterstrike team mTw were presented with a new gaming headset touted as being able to adjust to the users head and a new audio and comfort experience for gamers also claiming to make sweat a thing of the past with innovative design allowing airflow throughout the headset to the ears allowing heat to escape, which means gaming in comfort for hours at a time.
The soft ear pads are mounted on new ear cups using a new CircleFlex technology allowing them to rotate to mould to a comfortable fit, volume controls were moved to the ear cups to allow for a more natural touch control system and muting simply controlled by lifting the boom mic leading to faster response times whilst gaming which is essential to any serious gamers out there, new materials and technology combined with a study of the ergonomics have given the peripheral its comfort and performance.
The PC 320 is part of the Sennheiser Gaming Series, which has been developed to provide gamers with a sound so detailed that they are able to hear even footsteps of other players in-game. The PC 320 also features a pro noise-cancelling microphone, which means that only words spoken by the gamer are sent back over the microphone, with most background noise from the room being cancelled out another essential feature when in the heat of a battle as the last thing you want to hear is Tommy shouted at by his mum in some far of country.
The headset is said to be ready for release later this year.
