GameSir GK300 Wireless Gaming Keyboard Review

How Much Does it Cost?

The GameSir GK300 Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard is available now from a few major retailers. We’ve found it on Amazon for just £89.99, which isn’t cheap, but it’s pretty competitive given the features and build quality on offer. Those in the US are able to grab a pretty good deal at the moment though, with the price sitting at a very reasonable $77.99. Who knows, perhaps the UK price will drop to match, so it’s best you shop around as I suspect there will be some good deals to be found.

Overview

Who the hell are GameSir? Well, they’re easily one of the most interesting brands we’ve seen in a while. Sure, their keyboard isn’t packed with innovation, but it’s coming in at the right price, packing some great features, stylish designs, and competitive performance. If they can keep that simple formula going, I suspect we’ll be seeing a lot more of them over the next few years. Admittedly, you’ll see more of them on eTeknix too. We’ve got a few more gadgets from them for review that we’ll be covering in the coming weeks.

Performance

Wireless for gaming, are you mad? Far from it, and much like we’ve seen with the wireless Corsair Slipstream stuff, wireless just isn’t what it used to be. No real lag, no connection drops, and great battery life make cutting the cables a very viable option these days. Sure, for eSports, wired offers stability and less risk. However, at home, the flexibility can be a real quality of life improvement for some setups. I’ve had no issues with the wireless here today, and looking at other reviewers work, and their Amazon review, it seems many others are happy with it too.

Switches and Beyond

The choice of switches seems like a perfect fit for this keyboard. It’s comfortable to work on, and great to game on. The aluminium top panel, the lovely key caps, the wrist rest, and beyond. It all adds up to a fantastic keyboard. If you can get it at a good price, it’s easily one of my favourite new keyboards for ages. I had fairly low expectations for GameSir, if I’m honest, but I was a fool to do so. This is a great keyboard, and I’m sure you’ll love it too. Highly recommended.
