Resident Evil

I am of course referring to the original PlayStation 1 title here, not to say that the rest of the series isn’t great, but the feel of the first game was unlike any that followed, with only a few real enemies, most of the games suspense game from not knowing what and when was going to happen, creeping through rooms of a dusty mansion and just hoping that something violent doesn’t smash through the wall and end your life.

It may not have had amazing graphics but you can’t deny that the game had style. I love resident evils more “shooter” based modern games, but what I would give for a true puzzle/survival fest of the classics in the series.
