Gamings Finest Moments – Horror

So there we have it, my top five horror games of the last few generations of consoles, it never occured to me, at least when I started writing this article that so many of these games we’re from back in the PlayStation 1 days, have games got tamer? or is it just the new more popular emphesis on being armed to the teeth has taken president?  It’s good to know games like I Am Alive are still keeping the survival aspect of gaming alive, albeit that’s one game I’m just not that keen on, but that’s a story for another day.

There are many more great games out there that are worth listing here, most of which are in fact sequels to the ones I have already listed, but as far as I’m concerned the best of them all lies in the original titles in each series, the gameplay might have gotten better over the years, but it all had to start somewhere, I just think the originals were scarier, mostly because back then the story was new and fresh.

This being the internet, I fully expect repercussions on what I did or did not include in my list, but alas, it’s my personal opinion.  That being said I would love to hear your #1 scary games, why not drop a comment below or head on over to our forums to tell your gaming horror stories.
