Gearbox and 2K Games released Borderlands 2 back in 2012, and to extend its life-cycle, it has been greeted with a continuous flood of DLCs from its early days up until now. However, its time is already near the end, since the developer is announcing the last two DLCs before support for the title is dropped.
The next DLC for Borderlands 2 is called Mad Moxxi and the Wedding Day Massacre, which is stated to unite two of the world’s biggest families having the player given a role of a ‘match maker’. The gameplay will consist of, you guessed it, Moxxi giving you objectives to fetch her ingredients for love potions.
Due to it being a Headhunter Pack, it would most probably have a final boss mission which will unlock unique heads for each of the Vault Hunters you complete it with. It is stated that Moxxi’s adventures will not be the last title’s DLC, having one more DLC released later on. The last DLC is said to be another Head Hunter pack named Sir Hammerlock and the Son of Crawmerax which will be released somewhere in April.
As for Moxxi and the Wedding Day Massacre DLC, it is stated to be released just in time for Valentine’s Day, on the 11th of February, having a price tag of $2.99 or £2.99, depending on the region of purchase.
