Gears of War 4 has been a long time coming, but it finally looks like the wait is almost over as Microsoft has revealed that the game has gone Gold. That means the game is on a disc somewhere, shipped off and ready for mass production. I would love to say that it also means that development has finished, but we all know what day-one patches are like these days.
More good news follows too, as we now know that the game will support local split-screen on PC. This is great news for those who love to play together, especially if you play your games on the big screen, as it means you can pull up a couch and a couple of controllers on an evening.
Gears of War 4 will be released on October 11th, will you be playing it? Let us know in the comments section below.
