GEEKOM Partners With ASUS To Announce The AS6 Mini PC

Geekom in collaboration with ASUS has announced their new AS6 Mini PC powered by AMD Ryzen HX processors.

ASUS and Geekom have teamed up to deliver a Mini-PC which claims to deliver better overall performance than Intel’s NUC 13 Pro Arena Canyon powered by up to an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX Processor. This processor boasts 8 Cores, and 16 threads with a boost clock of up to 4.9 GHz and is paired with AMD Radeon Graphics 680M which is nearly 90% faster than Intel’s Iris-Xe graphics in the NUC 13 Pro. When combined with ultrafast DDR5 memory this mini-pc offers up to 2x faster game performance than the last gen.

The AS6 has been designed for performance and value in mind as it offer exceptional performance at an affordable price for gaming, office work and more. GEEKOM claims the AS6 offers 30% better overall performance than the Arena Canyon NUC at a lower price. Where ASUS comes into this equation is the inclusion of ASUS Enhanced Software-MyASUS, which supports Smart fan or performance and quiet modes. The included fan is self-cleaning and enables long-lasting, powerful performance with a quiet operation.

Specs and I/O

Included in this Mini PC is two PCIe Gen 4 M.2 SSDs with up to 2TB of storage as well as dual channel DDR5 memory for maximum speed. The AS6 features the latest WiFi 6E connectivity as well as Bluetooth 5.2. For the I/O there is two USB4 Type-C ports, two HDMI 2.1 Ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 and five USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports.
