The MSI GeForce GTX 980 Ti V1 Looks Amazing

This has to be one of the greatest looking graphics cards on the market right now, and better yet, it’s also one of the most powerful. The GeForce GTX 980 Ti V1 graphics card was unveiled recently by MSI, and even though it is based on NVIDIA’s reference design, most of its components were actually chosen and installed by MSI. This includes the original-looking cooler shroud design, which conceals a heatsink that looks quite similar to the NVIDIA time-to-market cooling solution.

Basically, in order to put together the GTX 980 Ti V1, MSI created its own reference-inspired PCB and cooling solution, and then it purchased the GPU itself from NVIDIA and nothing more. This is definitely a clever move from a marketing point of view, as it allows the company to maximize its earnings. As far as performance is concerned, this great-looking card will boast reference clock speeds of 1000 MHz core, 1076 MHz GPU Boost, and 7.00 GHz memory, all of which are more than decent. When it comes to pricing, this special MSI card will retail for US $649.99.
