GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs Leak in New Data

A recent ransomware attack on Clevo, a Taiwanese manufacturer, has revealed details about Nvidia’s upcoming GeForce RTX 50 series laptop GPUs. The leaked data, shared by Dominic Alvieri, provides insights into the new Blackwell mobile lineup.

Details on the New Lineup

The leak suggests that Nvidia is working on six variants of the GeForce RTX 50 series, all featuring GDDR7 memory. These models range from high-end to entry-level options. The GN22-X11 and GN22-X9 are expected to replace the GeForce RTX 4090 and RTX 4080, likely named GeForce RTX 5090 and GeForce RTX 5080.

Meanwhile, the GN22-X6 and GN22-X4 are anticipated to replace the GeForce RTX 4070 and RTX 4060, respectively. These GPUs will retain the same memory capacities as their predecessors but upgrade to GDDR7 memory.

Specifications

The GN22-X7 variant is mentioned with 12GB of GDDR7 memory, suggesting it might be another variant of the RTX 5080. Nvidia appears to maintain similar memory sizes as the current models, with 16GB available only on higher-end models like the RTX 5080.

The leaked roadmap indicates that these GPUs are set to launch at CES 2025. This aligns with the expected release of Nvidia’s desktop Blackwell series in late 2024 or early 2025.

These leaks provide a glimpse into Nvidia’s future plans for laptop GPUs. While the details are unconfirmed, they highlight the company’s efforts to advance its mobile graphics technology.
