Chinese sources say the GeForce RTX 5090, RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti, and RTX 5070 could be arriving sooner than expected. Previous rumors said the GeForce RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 were coming between January and February 2025, with the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti launching in March of that year, and the GeForce RTX 5070 in April.
Benchlife now says that all high-end models, including the GeForce RTX 5070, are going to hit the market between January and March 2025, i.e., within the first quarter of 2025. This would be an earlier-than-expected launch that would deviate somewhat from NVIDIA‘s strategy with previous generations. However, the time difference between launches would be small and therefore seems credible.
Next up are the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti and GeForce RTX 5060, which don’t have a confirmed release date yet, but it looks like they’ll be coming in Q2 2025. The question is when in that quarter they might arrive. They could debut in April, which would leave room for NVIDIA to launch the GeForce RTX 5050 in June 2025, also earlier than expected.
Although the high-end models are always the ones that generate the most expectations, for most consumers, the mid-range is the most interesting due to its price-performance ratio and because they are more affordable. For this reason, the GeForce RTX 5060 is going to be one of the most important graphics cards of this new generation.
