GeIL Demos DDR4 Memory Kits at CES 2017

GeIL is one of the most respected memory vendors with a rich history spanning well over a decade. In recent years, the company has compiled some really interesting heatspreader designs and embraced RGB illumination. Even though GeIL didn’t have anything new to disclose during CES this year, it was impressive to see their entire range from the Evo X to the Super Luce. Of course, the Evo X’s RGB functionality requires a trailing cable which isn’t ideal and I discussed this notion with the company’s representative. While it’s not a major headache right now, they’re considering updating the line-up and powering the RGB element without cabling.
On another note, the iconic Dragon memory was being shown on the ASRock Z270 Extreme4 and complemented the motherboard’s design rather nicely. The gold dragon detailing and white colour scheme is really unique and one of GeIL’s most exciting creations. The 10-layer PCB and DYNA4 SLT testing illustrate the modules’ stability when being overclocked to the absolute limit and the stringent testing which goes into the company’s product series.
