RAM maker GeIL released more details on its forthcoming range of new “hardcore” RAM sticks. The EVO SPEAR range is optimised for Intel Z200 and X299 chipsets. In addition, GeIL is also launching a special AMD Edition, which is verified for Ryzen CPUs and AM4 motherboards. The memory comes in 2133MHz to 3466MHz frequencies and modules of up to 64GB. The RAM is available in single, dual, and quad channel versions. GeIL first announced the EVO SPEAR series last month.
GeIL says:
“EVO SPEAR AMD Edition Series fully compatible with the latest AMD Ryzen 7, Ryzen 5 Processors and AM4 Motherboards. Available in 2133MHz to 3200MHz frequencies.
Gamers and enthusiasts who prefer SFF (Small Form Factor) PC builds no longer need to compromise on their case design. Featuring the stealth black and standard-height heat spreader, EVO SPEAR and EVO SPEAR AMD Edition Series are compatible with most computer cases and CPU coolers. The standard-height heat spreader ensures zero mechanical interference, greatly helping the installation.”
Jennifer Huang, the Vice President of GeIL, added:
“EVO SPEAR Series, and EVO SPEAR AMD Edition Series are ideal for gamers, enthusiasts, and case modders looking to maximize gaming performance with minimum investment.”
The EVO SPEAR and EVO SPEAR AMD Edition are out on 7th August. Prices range between $75.99 and $135.99 on Newegg.
