Cinebench
At the very core of it, the RoG model of this memory is near identical to the stand Geil Evo X memory kit. Albeit, it has been certified to work on ASUS motherboards. It comes as no surprise then, that it delivers identical performance in our first test.
It even overclocked to the same level, however, it still managed to deliver a marginally better score overall, hitting 1001 points in Cinebench at 3667 MHz.
AIDA64
Memory bandwidth is a little bit healthier too, not by much, but quicker is still quicker by any measure.
Overclocking saw similar gains too, with the kit settin gour highest read times to date, well, on our new test bench at least.
That performance is backed up with competitive latency at stock clocks, with the RoG shaving 0.01ns off the time of the standard kit.
However, latency was the same at the stock non-RoG kit while overlocked. Of course, that’s still a good score though.
WPrime
Not our strongest WPrime score, especially when the Super Luce scored so much better. Not a bad time, but again, it could be improved.
The same is true while overclocked, with only marginal gains for the Evo X RoG.
3DMark Fire Strike
Things are back on track for 3DMark though, with a respectable score of 14494 at stock.
There a nice improvement while overclocked too, taking the kit up to 14555 points, which is a very nice improvement and our second highest score to date.
