At launch, Ryzen memory support certainly wasn’t the best. However, now that we’ve had a few months, the market is catching up very quickly. GeIL rocked up to Computex 2017 with their latest memory kits, all of which are certified to work with Ryzen CPUs and their related motherboards.
By improving their support with these new rated memory kits, you can ensure you get the absolute best memory speeds on your new Ryzen CPU. Of course, Ryzen performance relies heavily on fast memory, so having this certification is a big win for fans of GeIL memory kits.
As you can see, we’ve got the EVO POTENZA, PRISTINE Series, and EVO SPEAR Series.
Moving up the ranges, we also have their lovely EVO FORZA, DRAGON RAM, SUPER LUCE, and the flagship EVO X Series.
The kits were on show in a range of AMD motherboards. Here you can see the X370 MSI Titanium and the AORUS X370.
The Evo X is one of my favourites. The kit offers RGB lighting with on-board controls. You can slide this black part on the top left and right.
Between the three positions, you can have various effects, colour cycle or even just lock in your favourite colour.
Not to mention, the heat spreader looks stunning. I don’t know if the Ryzen sticker is permanent or just for display, but it looks good regardless.
This kit looks nice too, a black and grey titanium finish. Of course, this will pair up nicely with some of the titanium themed boards that are hitting the market.
Most of these kits, if not all, should be hitting retailers now, so check with your store of choice for stock and prices. Of course, DDR4 prices aren’t great right now, but hopefully, that’ll improve soon enough.
