GeIL (Golden Emperor International Limited) have just announced their latest series of RAM kits – the EVO Potenza series. This series includes kits ranging from 1866MHz to 3000MHz in speed. These require between 1.5 and 1.65 volts and are available in 8GB, 16GB and 32GB kits.
The best kit is offering up to 3000MHz of speeds, in a 32GB kit capacity with 12-14-14-36 timings at 1.65 volts. The main features are a reasonably large and boldly designed heat spreader available in Silver/Black or Black/Red colour schemes, DBT burned in resilience and an impressive lifetime warranty to back up those impressive claims. The only let-down for me are those green PCBs! Consumers will need to use the latest Intel Haswell or Ivy Bridge platforms for maximum RAM compatibility on those higher frequency RAM kits (2133MHz and upwards).
Pricing and availability is still TBA but expect to see them hit the shelves of major retailers in the coming month. Full details of all the kits available can be seen below:
