Analog and Digital RGB LED Fans from GELID
PC cooling expert GELID is announcing their new Radiant series of case fans. These are available in the standard Radiant and the Radiant-D variant. The latter having digital RGB with programmable features.
The biggest difference is that the Radiant-D version can have a different colour for each of the nine pieces of RGB LED on-board. On the other hand, while the regular Radiant fan has a similar LED count, these can only be the same colour at the same time.
How Well Do These Fans Perform?
Both are available in a 120mm size, operating at 500 to 2000 RPM with a PWM connector. The fanblades are 3D optimized for even higher airflow and lesser noise. Meanwhile, the motor drive IC has been tailored to have minimal clicking noise when operating.
The maximum noise level is 40.4 dBA at 2000 RPM while producing 3.39 mmAq of static pressure. GELID also claims an MTTF of 100000, so they are comfortable enough to give these fans a 5-year warranty.
How Much are These GELID Radiant Series RGB Fans?
The analog RGB version has an MSRP of only €12.50 EUR or $14 USD. Meanwhile, the Radiant-D version has an MSRP of €16 EUR or $19 USD.
