Gelid has expanded their fan range with the new Silent 12 and Silent 12 PWM black fans which have been designed to offer silent operation with unparalleled durability.
These new 120mm fans make use of an innovative reinforced mount bearing that has been developed with precision engineering. This bearing reduces internal friction and wear which reduces the noise generated whilst also ensuring durability, because of this GELID estimates that these fans feature a 50,000 Mean Time To Failure rating
The non PWM Silent 12 features a speed of 1200 RPM with a max airflow of 54.9 CFM, the opposing PWM Silent 12 features a speed range of 600 – 1800 RPM with a max airflow of 88.6 CFM. Both of these fans also feature soft rubber pads to dampen vibrations to further reduce noise levels.
“Thrilled to unveil our latest Silent 12 and Silent 12 PWM Black Fans! The reinforced mount bearing sets a new standard for durability and silence in computer cooling. A significant step forward in silent technology. Excited to bring these innovations to our customers!”, said Gebhard Scherrer, Sales Director of GELID Solutions Ltd.
The Silent 12 fans are available for the following MSRP
