The packaging is simple and the dominant blue theme makes it very obvious you’ve just bought a blue coloured fan. Gelid claim the use of a nanoflux bearing, personally I have no idea what this means but let us hope it is quiet.
The back of the packaging has key specifications and tell us that the product has a 5 year warranty – that is very impressive and it is great to know Gelid Solutions stand behind the quality of their products.
Note the detachable impeller, a very cool feature that we will show you on the next page.
Included in the package is the fan itself, a 12v to 7v fan speed reducer cable and a bag with a Gelid Solutions sticker, silver fan screws and black rubber fan mounts. The fan is a 3 pin design meaning no PWM and therefore fixed RPMs , either 1200 RPM at 12v or 900 RPM at 7v. My only minor dislike is the exposed multi-coloured cabling on the frame. I think after going to all the effort of braiding the other cables, the fact they left these ones exposed is a bit on the sloppy side.
