Gelid Solutions Wing 14 UV Blue 140mm Fan Review

The Gelid Solutions Wing 14 UV Blue 140mm fan was incredibly quiet. We took some delta noise measurements which you can see below. There was only a minor difference in noise output between 900 RPM and 1200 RPM so in most cases it probably makes more sense to just have 1200 RPM and get some more airflow. Although the fact Gelid give you the option to choose is something I cannot praise highly enough.

Due to the fact it was a 3 pin fan we couldn’t pick custom RPMs to compare against other fans we’d previously tested. However, if you refer to the table below you can get some kind of reference point about the Wing 14’s noise output. It is clearly a very quiet fan with impressive acoustics to rival the Be Quiet! Shadow Wings fan.
