GELID Unveils Antarctica CPU Cooler

As part of the GELID Solutions GAMER product line, the new Antarctica cooler was designed to provide exceptional cooling performance for both Intel and AMD CPUs with a TDP of up to 220W. The cooler features a 3D optimized heatsink and 5 power heat pipes complemented by aluminum fins with improved proofing and a smaller heatsink with a copper core. All of these elements work together to ensure incredible heat transfer from the CPU to the heatsinks, both of which were made using software simulation and precise calculations.

The cooler is perfectly capable of functioning properly even with low-speed, silent fans. The heatsink is accompanied by a silent 140mm fan that boasts intelligent GELID Pulse Width Module technology. The fan’s speed ranges between 450 and 1500 RPM, and even though this speed changes dynamically depending on cooling needs, the fan always remains silent. The cooler can also receive a second fan, in which case its performance can increase even further. The package includes mounting clips for AMD CPU sockets such as AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+, FM1 and FM2, as well as for Intel’s LGA 775, 1366, 1155, 1156, 1150 and 1151.

Co-founder and Sales Director of GELID Solutions Ltd, Gebhard Scherrer, had a few words to say about the GELID Antarctica CPU cooler:

“Our Antarctica CPU Cooler is a silent heat-killer. It’s forged to fulfill the requirements of the picky gaming enthusiasts and professional users. Perfectly balanced high performance, silent operation and multi-system compatibility, all the features many users have dreamed about now come true with the Antarctica.”

The cooler is available for purchase right now and costs €37.
