Genesis Releases Thor 404 TKL Mechanical Gaming Keyboard
Jakob Aylesbury / 1 year ago
Genesis has today unveiled its latest product, the Thor 404 TKL keyboard successor to the Thor 303 TKL featuring a mechanical design.
Genesis Thor 404 TKL
The Genesis Thor 404 is a mechanical keyboard in the TKL format providing more space for mouse movements during competitive play. It is equipped with either Gateron Yellow pro or Kailh Box Brown V2 switches capable of 60 million and 80 million keystrokes respectively. They feature a 2mm actuation distance with 50g and 55g actuation forces allowing for a differing typing experience. These switches are also hot-swappable and compatible with any 5-pin switch mechanisms from various manufacturers, and the stabilizers are factory lubed for a better feel.
Compared to its predecessor, the Thor 303, this keyboard offers a fully enclosed, non-floating type casing which guarantees stability at all times. The sound is also minimal thanks to the special foam within the frame that dampens the sound. In terms of style, the keyboard comes in both white and black and features RGB illumination for added flair.
