GOG has launched its Summer Sale, with huge price drops on great games, both classic and current. But the best deal the game distribution platform is offering is System Shock 2, absolutely free! All you need to do to grab yourself a copy of the sci-fi FPS sequel – which, together with the first game, is the spiritual predecessor to the BioShock series – is to download the current beta version of GOG Galaxy, the site’s Steam-esque digital distribution platform.
“Help us stress test the GOG Galaxy client. Visit this page through the client to claim and download your free game,” the GOG website reads. The offer ends 12:00GMT on Friday, 10th June.
Current highlights of the sale – both individual games and bundles – include:
Plus, since this is GOG, all the games are DRM-free! More games are set to be included in the sale over the Summer, so remember to check back frequently.
