Sony continues to dominate when it come to their PC ports, and while I think they should have started this trend a heck of a lot sooner, it’s great to see some good news in the PC gaming market, and that gaming industry as a whole right now. Ghost of Tsushima launched on PC a few days ago, and has already surpassed the peak concurrent player count of God of War, making it the biggest single-player PlayStation release on PC.
It’s beaten out by Helldivers 2, but of course, that’s an online multiplayer title. However, at 77,154 peak players, it’s now ahead of the score set by God of War of 73,529 players, which is impressive, as God of War was unmistakably a big hit with PC gamers, even if I do think it’s the most uninteresting and boring God of War game to date, but that’s just me.
There are still some big properties from Sony that could dominate on PC, such as Gran Turismo, which is one of the very few games remaining from the infamous Nvidia Drivers leaks a couple of years back, so I’m still expecting that in the not too distant future. There’s also the Demon’s Souls Remake, which will make a fortune if Sony ever gets around to it on PC.
