Ghost Recon Breakpoint Performance Analysis – 24 GPUs Tested
Peter Donnell / 5 years ago
The system requirements for Breakpoint are pretty broad. Ubisoft has actually been generous to PC gamers for some time now. The engine here will support systems from 6+ years ago, such as the Radeon R9 280X! Of course, that’s the absolute bare minimum settings at 1080p. Moving up from there, the recommended is a modest quad-core paired with at least an RX 480 or GTX 1060. I’m betting a GTX 970 would do just fine though.
Moving up to the Elite Ultra settings, we’re talking maxed out 1080p here. For that a 5700 XT or GTX 1080 with a decent modern CPU to back it up. AMD holds the same card for the 2K gaming tier too, however, you’ll want a GTX 1080 Ti on the green team.
For their flagship 4K ultra experience, A high-end Ryzen 7 or i7 is what it’ll take. They recommend a Radeon VII or RTX 2080. So, a pretty broad spectrum there, but about what you would expect really.
