GhostWire Tokyo Official PC Requirements Confirmed!
Mike Sanders / 3 years ago
With it recently getting confirmation for release on March 25th, Ghostwire Tokyo has certainly been building up a fair bit of hype over the last few months. – Admittedly, while it certainly looks to be taking a somewhat unusual tone in its gameplay mechanics, the visuals, without a doubt, look exceptionally impressive. Given that Bethesda also has a hand in this too… Hmmm, well, actually, just make of that what you will.
For those of you planning to check this out on PC, however, you might have been wondering if your system could handle it. Well, following an update to the official Steam website, we now have fully confirmed PC requirements for Ghostwire Tokyo. The only question is, can your PC run it?…
GhostWire Tokyo – PC Requirements!
On the whole, the specifications are mostly ok (by gaming PC standards), but the short version is that you’re probably going to need a relatively modern system to get the best out of Ghostwire Tokyo. – The first thing we noticed is within the ‘minimum’ setting where the CPU levels are a little on the ‘higher than normal’ level for this remit. Once in the realms of ‘recommended’, however, it does appear that those stunning visuals are going to require a little bit of hardware potency for smooth results. And especially so if you plan to take this beyond the 1080p resolution the following is based upon:
Minimum:
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: 64-BIT WINDOWS 10 VERSION 1909 OR HIGHER
- Processor: CORE I7 4770K @ 3.5GHZ OR AMD RYZEN 5 2600
- Memory: 12 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 1060 OR AMD RX 5500 XT (VRAM 6 GB OR HIGHER)
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: 20 GB available space
- Additional Notes: SSD Storage Recommended
Recommended:
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: 64-BIT WINDOWS 10 VERSION 1909 OR HIGHER
- Processor: CORE I7 6700 @ 3.4GHZ OR AMD RYZEN 5 2600
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 1080 OR AMD RX 5600 XT (VRAM 6 GB OR HIGHER)
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: 20 GB available space
- Additional Notes: SSD Storage
What Do We Think?
Honestly, I think that while the specifications are a little on the general ‘high-side’ of things, this is pretty much to be expected from a title that is clearly looking to push the graphical boat out a little. – Set for release on March 25th, however, if you want to learn more about Ghostwire Tokyo, you can check out the official Steam website for it via the link here!
