Now onto the really good stuff we get our first look of the Krypton out of its packaging. The mouse its self comes with a fully symmetrical chassis design making it perfect for both left and right handed use. Across the top of the mouse you can see it features some very slick looking gold lettering that reads “KRYPTON”, it’s a nice style touch, although I’m not sure it’s going to be to everyone’s tastes.
Each side of the mouse comes with fitted with a ridged rubber finish, this helps with overall grip and comfort when using the mouse and should help you keep a firm grasp in the heat of battle. Down the left and right side alike we have the profile switch as well as the forward and back tab buttons.
The enter of the mouse features a really nice high quality scroll wheel, behind which you will find a two way toggle switch for controlling DPI settings on the fly.
The underside of the mouse features a hot-swappable chassis, allowing you to select either of the included designs to suit your preferred playing surface and friction level. Behind the chassis you find a range of compartments for the included weights. It’s really easy to install the weights and find the balance that is perfect for you, should you be left or right handed you can change the balance of the mouse by adding weights to either side or just increase the overall weight of the mouse evenly.
Once connected via USB you can see that both the scroll wheel, shift button and DPI lights give off a really nice blue tone. The DPI switch level has four settings, represented by the two rows of 4 LEDs at either side.
