Gigabyte Aivia Krypton Dual-Chassis Gaming Mouse Review

I may have suffered some minor hand ache whilst using this mouse for day to day tasks, but as I’ve said before I do spend a lot of time at the computer on a daily basis and it’s general hard for me to find that perfect balance of comfort over long working hours. The whole point of a mouse like this is that your going to be looking to purchase the one that feels right for you and with my hands and this mouse, that just isn’t the case for my day to day tasks.
Where this mouse really shines though is its gaming prowess, it glides like a ninja when gaming, its buttons have a premium feel and well balanced feedback to your finger tips, its macro features expand on its functionality across a number of more complex MMO and strategy games and it’s pin point accuracy really does give you an edge. Not forgetting its perfect for those who prefer the mouse to the left of the keyboard.
The only minor issue I had while gaming was the DPI toggle switch, a simple two button setup to switch up and down may have been better in my opinion, but I’m really just trying to find faults in an otherwise robust product. It’s build quality is rock solid and every surface of the mouse has a premium feel throughout, not forgetting of course that it feature plenty of eye candy with its mixture of subtle curves and strong angles.
While it may not be perfect, I wasn’t expecting perfection from it, what I was expecting is rock solid performance, style and functionality and that is exactly what I saw here today. It doesn’t matter if your a pro-gamer or just love playing games at home, if you’re looking for something that will give you the edge in your favourite titles, then you’re going to love the Krypton.
