Gigabyte Announces AORUS H5 Gaming Headset

Gigabyte’s high-end gaming brand AORUS is releasing the H5 gaming headset soon. This headset stands out from the rest by using 50mm beryllium metal drivers, unlike others which often use neodymium. The result is accurate and balanced sound reproduction, suitable for gaming. The AORUS H5 has a frequency response range of 20Hz to 20KHz with a 100 ± 3dB at 1KHz sensitivity. It connects using a 3-ring 3.5mm analog jack, although it also has a USB connector for powering the RGB LED feature. It is controllable via the AORUS RGB fusion lighting software, and can be synchronized with other compatible devices. Users can even choose between various behavioural presets including breathing, flash, cycling and persistent mode.
AORUS Quality for Comfortable Gaming
Despite the massive drivers and ear cups, the AORUS H5 is actually a lightweight headphone, weighing 285g. The lightweight frame design, reduces the overall pressure around the ears, minimizing listening fatigue. The top has fine tuned suspension headbands which help spread the weight across the user’s head. This band is also adjustable, to conform with different user’s head sizes. There is also substantial cushion on the head band, as well as the ear cups which then block external noise.
The microphone is detachable and is bendable, so users can do with it as they see fit. There is also an in-line sound control remote which lets players adjust volume and other features directly. Since it uses a standard 3.5mm jack, the AORUS H5 is widely compatible on many systems, consoles, or even mobile devices.
Pricing and Availability
So far, AORUS is keeping the pricing and availability information close to their chest. However, the official product page is already up, so it is most likely only a matter of days.
