Gigabyte Announces Its First AMD A620-Based Motherboards

GIGABYTE has today unveiled its new AMD A620 chipset motherboards for the AM5 platform. These new motherboards are set to provide a budget option for the AM5 platform with the A620 chipset.
GIGABYTE A620 Motherboards
Gigabyte has unveiled two new motherboards the A620M Gaming X and the A620M Gaming AX. These motherboards will feature the bare minimum for the AM5 platform. The aim of this chipset is to allow for consumers to access the AM5 platform flexibly and affordably.
These motherboards are enhanced by GIGABYTE exclusive layout design and BIOS setting which isn’t much of a brag as the GIGABYTE bios menu is like navigating a minefield with a blind mobility cane. The motherboards will feature EXPO/XMP overclocking up to DDR5-6400 which is said to be the sweet spot for current 7000 series AM5 CPUs. These motherboards will also feature GIGABYTE Q flash technology as well as their innovative PCIe EZ-Latch technology making graphics card installation and removal easy and risk free.
GIGABYTE A620M Gaming X AX
The Gigabyte A620M Gaming X AX features an 8+2+1 digital VRM design with an included heatsink with an innovative and optimized thermal design. The board features 4 DIMMs with dual channel memory support and one 16X PCI-e 4.0 slot which features an EZ-Latch as well as a PCI-E 1x slot. For storage the board has 1 Gen 4 M.2 slot with an included heatsink and 4 SATA 6GB/s connectors.
The A620 Gaming X motherboard is Largely the same but does not feature WiFi 6E.
