Power and Thermal Performance
This is where things get interesting, as the Intel Core i9 is a monster of a CPU. Of course, that huge core count means lots of power, so the Gaming 9 and that CPU combined, chews through a whopping 388w at stock while stressing all hardware components.
Overclocking took that to new heights too, with a whopping 545w power draw. That is quite high, but as we’ve seen today, that power isn’t going to waste, delivering blazing performance in all of our tests today.
