The Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is an incredibly power graphics card, and we certainly had a lot of fun with it in our latest review. However, we knew the card had so much more to give, and that’s why we’re even more excited about the new Gigabyte Aorus GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, which are set to offer improved cooling and clock speeds over the stock Nvidia models.
Pricing for the new cards has been revealed, and first up, we have the Gaming OC, which comes with a custom PCB design and the mighty WindForce 3X cooling solution, allowing for a moderate factory overclock. This card will cost you $699, which is the same price as the reference Founders Edition, making it very good value for money. The Aorus GeForce GTX 1080 Ti (non-Xtreme Edition) is just $719, which is only $20 over the Nvidia base price! Finally, we also have the flagship Xtreme Edition which comes it at $749, so just $50 over the base price.
Finally, we also have the flagship Xtreme Edition which comes it at $749, so just $50 over the base price. That’s a great deal for a card that will come with a high-end factory overclock and actually lower prices than we were expecting, although the card is hardly cheap to begin with.
The cards go on sale from March 31st, and we’ll be keen to follow up with some reviews as soon as possible too, so stay tuned!
