Networking Performance
Passmark Performance Test 8 – Ethernet
The Gigabyte AORUS Z270X-Gaming 9’s Killer E2500 chip couldn’t contend with other motherboards employing the Intel i219V. Despite this, the UDP and TDP results are still pretty good.
Passmark Performance Test 8 – WiFi
Unfortunately, the WiFi data had some abnormalities and I’m not confident with the final figures being reflective of the actual throughput. Therefore, I’ve decided to omit the WiFi results and conduct further testing after investigating the issue more with new drivers.
Passmark Performance Test 8 – CPU Work Load
The motherboard’s networking CPU utilisation reaches 3 percent during TCP testing and 2 percent when utilising UDP.
