With the new chipset comes a lot of new technologies and for the most part of our audience, a lot of you won’t know much about B75, as Z77 is going to be more of the consumer based focus points. With that in mind, we will take a brief look into B75 and what Gigabyte have managed to deliver with this particular board.
So the first thing to really comment on is vPro. For those who don’t know what vPro is, we invite you to check out this link, as it’s quite complex and would take a long time for me to explain it all. Now this board doesn’t have vPro but it has something very similar called Intel Small Business Advantage or SBA for short.
Small Business Advantage is aimed at businesses, home office users and education sectors to name but a few of the main markets, and gives added protection when needed the most. For these types of sectors and users, there are some key areas that are important including making data secure, safe and easy data backup, easy to manage, automatic updates and of course; a complete solution.
Luckily, SBA offers all of this in an all-in-one utility aimed at small business systems.
This includes six main features, which includes your software monitor, data backup & restore, USB Blocker2 which stops unwanted USB devices and allows you to approve ones you want, PC Health Center, energy saver and Intel Wireless display through use of an Intel Wi-Fi module.
All of these features combined, lead to a safe and secure system that can be managed by yourself, easily and effortlessly, and all of these features have been integrated into the Gigabyte B75M-D3H motherboard that we’re looking at today.
