Without a doubt, this is a gorgeous-looking motherboard. That being said, the motherboard market is extremely competitive these days, and you have to look fairly hard to find something that looks like trash. However, Aorus are a premium brand, and that shines through here, with gorgeous brushed aluminium covering the VRM, M.2 and chipset with some angular lines cut through everything to give it a nice flowing look.
The 60A DrMos VRM heatsinks are split in two, covering a 6+6 Phases Parallel power design, with a small, yet surprisingly robust one above the CPU, and a larger one on the left, which extends upwards to form a shroud for the rear I/O and fully covered the MOSFET, and uses a 5 W/mk Thermal Conductivity Pad for mounting too.
There’s a large heatsink for the primary M.2, however, the secondary M.2 has no cover at all.
A fully armoured PCIe slot, suitable to take the weight of even the biggest modern GPUs. The lower slot is partially reinforced too, which is nice.
There are four DDR5 slots on this motherboard, and it’s capable of handling up to DDR5 7600(O.C.) at up to 192GB using the new 48GB DIMMs, which may vary depending on CPU configuration.
The rear I/O shroud is built-in and has a matching silver and white aesthetic. You’ll find 802.11ax WiFi 6E and 2.5 GbE LAN for ultra-fast networking. There’s USB-C 20Gb/s, as well as USB 3.2 and USB 2 ports.
