With the base removed you can see we have four screws holding it in place and then there are also a few more screws that attach the motherboard to the top of the case.
Opening it up and the resemblance to the Intel NUC is clear. The stand-out difference, apart from being blue not green, is that it comes pre-fitted with a wireless module in the second half size mini PCIe slot.
You are provided with two SODIMM slots for up to 16GB of 1333/1600MHz DDR3.
You have a full size mSATA slot for an mSATA SSD which will be your primary and only onboard storage drive. Any additional storage must be USB added, network attached or cloud storage.
Underneath the motherb0ard we find the cooling solution which is virtually identical to that on the Intel NUC. The only real difference is the case has more venting for easier intake.
The cooler covers the Intel i5 3337U processor and the HM77 mobile chipset.
There is a WiFi antenna embedded into the case just like the Intel NUC has except this is actually attached to a fitted wireless module.
